End of the World Giveaway Hop [INT]


I've been blogging for more or less six months now, and I thought I'd show my appreciation to my lovely followers and do a giveaway! (Finally, right?) So what can you win, you may ask? Well, let me ask you this - what book would you save if the world was coming to an end? To the winner of this giveaway, I promise to give you that very book!

RULES:
  • This giveaway is open internationally. As long as The Book Depository ships to your country, you're good to go!
  • You must be at least 13 to enter this giveaway.
  • You can win any book of your choice, as long as it is worth/under $15.
  • This giveaway will end on 22nd December, 12:00am.
  • The winner will be given 48 hours to respond to the email I will be sending out. If he/she does not reply to my email, I will be forced to choose another winner.

  7. The book I would read the day before the world ends? Maybe Harry Potter, the first book I've read (and loved) and (hopefully, not) the last book I will ever read (if the world DOES end.)

  9. Finish Kerri Smith's activity book: How to Be an Explorer of the World. Just so I can document the world as it exists before its demise. (Survivors might use it as reference) :)

  10. I would read Tuesdays with Morrie because reviews say it emphasizes the importance of life and Mitch Albom is one of my favorite authors :)

  13. I would totally save the Lewis Carroll's Alice In Wonderland. It's the book that taught me to believe in the impossible. It taught me that letting your imagination run free is the most amazing thing a dreamer can do =3 (And yes, I am a new follower. Haha XD)

  15. Other than Harry Potter, The 39 Clues and The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, I would want to read The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I saw the movie but haven't read the book. I can totally relate! I would definitely save that for last!

  17. The book i would like to save if ever the world ends is definitely A Poem as Big as New York City by Masha D'yans. I would love to see how beautiful and fascinating New York City is through the eyes of its own children.

  18. it would be Harry Potter series. because I believe that like in the movie Time Machine (starring Guy Pearce) there would be another world after this and I think children in the next generation ought to also experience the same beautiful childhood we had

Hmmm. . . well, if I was smart, I would be reading something about how to survive the end of the world, but if I was honest, I would say I would just want to soak in as much fiction as I could before it all ended, so I would probably read the next book on my TBR pile or re-read one of my favorites like Harry Potter.

  73. The Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini! And the world isnt ending the Mayan calendar is circluar; therefore the circle is starting over (think of a clock striking midnight) its awesome bc instead of 24 hours like a clock its a 50 year long calendar. :) So ya, no end of the world...................as an anthropology major this is getting really annoying.
