Jamie as Jace

I'm not sure about you guys, but I wasn't exactly thrilled when I found out that Jamie Campbell Bower was to play Jace in the film adaptation of City of Bones. I've warmed up to him over the last few months, sure, but it was only upon seeing the pictures below that I became absolutely certain that Jamie can play Jace. What do you guys think?

    I'm still not convinced. His hair seems to be a little less dirty these days, so that is a plus. I hear he is working on 'bulking up' for the role, but I don't really see that yet. Also, he has odd teeth...silly that it bothers me so much, but hey.

    We'll see, maybe he will totally surprise me ~ I hope so!

      Apparently he had intense chemistry with Lily (and he's not too shabby an actor either) so they cast him. He's been really looking good recently though - I think he'll surprise all of us!

    I was not convinced because he doesn't match the Jace I pictured while I was reading City of Bones but then I saw him in Anonymous the other day and thought he was really good in that film. I think he will be a good Jace! Though, I hope they do something about his hair. It's kind of a hot mess.

      I know what you mean with his hair - maybe when filming starts he'll be all... clean-looking. I think he'll be a great Jace as well!
