Q: Christmas in July! Someone gives you a gift card for two books (whatever that costs). What two books will you buy?


Hmmm... I guess I'd have to go with Jodi Lynn Anderson's Tiger Lily and Rebecca Serle's When You Were Mine. Both of these books are retellings of stories that we have come to love - Peter Pan and Romeo and Juliet, respectively - only, they are told through other characters' eyes.

    Awesome answer! I read When You Were Mine recently, and absolutely LOVED it. Rebecca Serle is amazing and by the end of the book I was literally in tears. The characters, the plot, the suspense... everything was so fabulous, and since it was a retelling of the great Romeo & Juliet, I hadn't really expected to love it SO much! Tiger Lily seems really cool too. I definitely need to get my hands on a copy of it sometime soon. Can't wait to see how Peter Pan is portrayed! Great answer! <333

    OOoh I loved Tiger Lily! I had an ARC and still need to get a keeper copy of the final cover art since that was changed and all!
